Vietnam's national football team has expressed its unwavering determination to secure the AFF Championship title, regardless of whether they face Thailand or the Philippines in the final match.

Our goal is clear: to win the championship, said head coach Park Hang-seo. We have worked hard and prepared thoroughly, and we are confident in our abilities.

Vietnam has a strong track record in the AFF Championship, having won the title twice in 2008 and 2018. They are also the current holders of the Southeast Asian Games gold medal.

We respect both Thailand and the Philippines as formidable opponents, added Park. But we believe in our team and our game plan. We will give it our all to bring the trophy back to Vietnam.

The AFF Championship final will be held on January 16, 2024, at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam.
